Frequently asked questions
In the clinical and medical professions (operating theatres, clean rooms, bio cabinets, etc.) the accepted wisdom is that manual cleaning will remove surface debris, but is not appropriate to deal with bacteria, pathogens or micro-organisms. Additionally, evidence has been put forward that manual cleaning with a cloth and cleaning solution can cause cross-contamination and propagate the spread of bacteria. Dry misting, on the other hand, will not disturb bacteria when the mist lands on it, cover every surface and disinfect hard-to-each areas.
We work exclusively with experienced technicians, employ World Health Organisation approved equipment and use STERiZAR, a best-in-class disinfectant.
STERiZAR has many qualities. Firstly, once an area or surface is cleaned with STERiZAR it is protected from recontamination for up to 30 days. Secondly, STERiZAR performs at such a high level that it meets all the BS / EN standards making is safe to use in a medical environment. Thirdly, within STERiZAR’s formulation are positively charged ions that enable it to adhere to any surface, irrespective of the angle of the surface such as the underside of furniture, walls, ceilings, etc.
There is a big difference between those two kills rate. 99.9% means that 1 in 1000 germs survive. 99.9999% means only 1 in 1,000,000 survive. The 99.9% kill rate product will therefore leave 1000 times more bacteria, germs and pathogens than the 99.9999% kill rate product.
Recent independent lab tests confirm that our biocidal solution kills SARS-COV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
The test concludes that:
“This product therefore is effective against all enveloped viruses as defined in EN 14476:2013 + A2:2019 Annex A*. This, therefore, includes all coronaviruses and SARS-CoV-2”.

No, a further benefit of STERiZAR is that it is an alcohol-free disinfectant and is odourless by the time you re-enter your home.
We advise that any area be kept clear for an hour after receiving the FOGiZAR treatment, as this will allow the minute droplets time to settle on every surface without any air disturbance, I.e. people moving around, opening and closing doors, etc. This allows for maximum coverage.
No, although all electric lights need to be switched off, which can be done at the time of the visit, and any smoke detectors need to be covered up, which we will do for you.
